Principles

TrustRouter is designed for auditability, control, and transparent economics. These principles guide all platform behavior.

1

Provider price stays provider price

TrustRouter does not mark up message rates. Instead, it charges a separate service fee. This is the core commercial trust model.

2

Route choice is explicit

The platform supports full manual control. If you want "Orange via Provider A" you can choose it. If you want "Direct MNO only," you can enforce it.

3

Decisions must be explainable

Routing decisions should be explainable by: policy matches (rules), trust thresholds (verified routes), objective optimization (AI routing), and fallback logic. Every decision must be traceable.

4

Delivery signals must be normalized

Providers report delivery and errors differently. TrustRouter standardizes delivery events into a consistent schema so you can compare and automate reliably.

5

Protection is not an add-on

Fraud/pumping detection and protective blocking are included. TrustRouter treats abuse prevention as a reliability requirement, not a premium feature.

6

Planning prevents outages and cost shocks

Before shifting traffic, simulate: cost impact, delivery impact, and risk impact. This reduces operational surprises.
