Manual Routing
Manual routing is for maximum control and auditability.
When to use manual routing
- You must enforce a specific provider or operator path
- Your compliance or contract requires deterministic routing
- You are validating "direct vs non-direct" route behavior
- You want controlled A/B testing of providers
What you can select
- Provider connection (including BYO)
- Route type (direct MNO vs hub)
- Destination/operator targeting (where available)
Safety rules still apply
TrustRouter will still apply safety rules even with manual routing:
- Hard fraud blocks (if enabled)
- Rate limits (if configured)
- Prohibited destinations or policy restrictions (if applicable)
