Manual Routing

Manual routing is for maximum control and auditability.

When to use manual routing

  • You must enforce a specific provider or operator path
  • Your compliance or contract requires deterministic routing
  • You are validating "direct vs non-direct" route behavior
  • You want controlled A/B testing of providers

What you can select

  • Provider connection (including BYO)
  • Route type (direct MNO vs hub)
  • Destination/operator targeting (where available)

Safety rules still apply

TrustRouter will still apply safety rules even with manual routing:

  • Hard fraud blocks (if enabled)
  • Rate limits (if configured)
  • Prohibited destinations or policy restrictions (if applicable)
